This page covers your personal data. See also our Terms of Use and our Disclaimer.
Gharounda Realty is a residential property advisory based in Mira Road East, Thane, Maharashtra, operating gharoundarealty.com. We help home buyers find, compare and purchase homes across Mira Road, Mira‑Bhayandar and Thane. We are a real estate agent registered with MahaRERA under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, registration number A011332601025, held in the name of Prakash Singh.
In the language of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here, and you are the Data Principal. This page is both our privacy policy under Rule 4 of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the notice we are required to give you under Section 5 of the DPDP Act read with Rule 3 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025.
It is written to be read, not to be scrolled past. Everything below describes what this website actually does — we have not copied in clauses about practices we do not have.
Short version. We collect what you type into an enquiry form — nothing more. We use it to call you back about homes. It goes to our own database, our team's working sheet on Google, and WhatsApp when you send it there. We do not sell it, we do not run ads on it, and we set no cookies on you. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Set out below is the itemised description of personal data this website collects, as Rule 3 of the DPDP Rules, 2025 requires.
This comes from the enquiry forms on our home page, our contact page and each property page. Only your name and phone number are required. Every other field is optional and the form works without it.
| Personal data | Required | Specified purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Yes | To know who we are speaking to, and to address you correctly |
| Phone number | Yes | To call or message you back about your enquiry |
| Email address | No | To send you details, floor plans or cost sheets if you prefer email |
| Configuration (1, 2 or 3 BHK) | No | To shortlist homes matching what you are looking for |
| Budget range | No | So we do not take your time with homes outside your range |
| Possession timeline | No | To separate ready‑to‑move homes from under‑construction ones |
| Your message | No | Anything else you want us to know before we call |
| The property you enquired from | Recorded | Captured automatically when you enquire from a specific property page, so we know which home you meant |
| Date and time of the enquiry | Recorded | To respond in order and to keep an accurate record of our dealings |
Please do not send us sensitive information through this website. We never ask for your PAN, Aadhaar, bank account details, card details, passwords or salary slips here, and this website has no facility to receive them. Documents needed later in a purchase are collected in person or through the builder's own process, never through this site.
One thing only: your IP address, which our server sees on every request as every web server does. We use it for a single purpose — limiting how many enquiries can be submitted from one connection in a short window, so automated spam cannot flood our enquiry list. This check runs in the server's temporary memory. Your IP address is not written to our enquiry database and is not linked to your enquiry.
Our hosting provider also keeps ordinary short‑term server logs for security and troubleshooting, as any hosted website has.
We do not collect your precise location, we do not read your contacts or files, and we do not use device fingerprinting.
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give by filling in and submitting an enquiry form after reading this notice. We use it for these specified purposes and no others:
If we ever want to use your data for a purpose not on this list, we will ask you first.
This section matters, so it is stated plainly rather than buried.
When you submit an enquiry form or share your phone number with us, you are asking us to get in touch, and you consent to us contacting you about that enquiry and about homes matching what you asked for — by phone call, SMS, WhatsApp and email. Because this consent is given by you directly to us, it applies even if your number is registered on the National Do Not Call (DND/NDNC) registry under the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations. This is how you hear back about a home you asked about.
We do not run marketing blasts. We contact you about the enquiry you made and homes relevant to it. We do not add you to a bulk promotional list, and we do not pass your number to anyone who will.
You can withdraw this consent at any time, and doing so is as easy as giving it was. Simply tell us — say "please stop contacting me" on a call or on WhatsApp, or write to our Grievance Officer at gharoundarealty@gmail.com. No form, no reason needed. We will stop contacting you, and on request we will erase your details as described in Retention and erasure.
Withdrawing consent does not make our earlier contact with you unlawful, and it does not affect anything we are separately required by law to retain.
Once you enquire, the conversation usually moves to a phone call or to WhatsApp rather than staying on this website. Two things are worth stating plainly.
We do not record our phone calls with you. No call recording, no transcription, no voice analysis. All we keep from a call is a short written note of what you are looking for, so that we can serve you properly and a colleague can pick up if we are unavailable.
If we ever decide to start recording calls, we will update this page before we begin, and you will be told at the start of any recorded call and given the chance to decline.
Our enquiry forms open WhatsApp with your message pre-typed so that you send it to us yourself. From that point the conversation lives in WhatsApp — on your phone and on ours — and is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy as well as this one. We do not control what Meta does with message metadata.
You can delete the chat from your side at any time, and we will delete it from ours if you ask. See Retention and erasure.
Buying a home is rarely a one‑week decision. Buyers often come back to us months or years later, and we would rather remember your requirement than make you explain it again. So we keep enquiry records for as long as is reasonably needed to serve you, and for as long as our record‑keeping obligations as a registered real estate agent require.
In line with Section 8(7) of the DPDP Act, we erase personal data when you withdraw your consent, or when it becomes reasonable to assume the purpose we collected it for is no longer being served — unless a law requires us to keep it. Where we must retain something for a legal or regulatory reason, we keep only that, and only for as long as required.
Write to our Grievance Officer and we will erase your record from our enquiry database and from our team's working sheet. We will confirm when it is done.
Two honest limits on deletion:
These are the reasonable security safeguards we actually have in place, as required by Section 8(5) of the DPDP Act and Rule 8 of the SPDI Rules, 2011:
We take this seriously, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a personal data breach affects your data, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as Section 8(6) of the DPDP Act and Rule 7 of the DPDP Rules, 2025 require — telling you what happened, the likely consequences, what we have done about it, and what you should do to protect yourself.
Under Sections 11 to 14 of the DPDP Act you have the following rights over your personal data. Exercising them costs nothing and you do not have to give a reason.
Contact our Grievance Officer by phone, email or post using the details in the last section. Tell us which right you want to use. So that we do not disclose your information to someone else, we may first verify your identity — usually by confirming the phone number the enquiry came from.
We will respond as quickly as we reasonably can, and in any event within the period the law prescribes — currently ninety days for a grievance under the DPDP Rules, 2025, though in practice we aim to settle matters in days rather than months.
Section 15 of the DPDP Act also asks a little of you: please give us details that are accurate and genuine, do not impersonate someone else, and do not file a false or frivolous complaint.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request or complaint, you may escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India.
This website is meant for adults buying residential property. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18 years of age, and we do not undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children — we do not undertake any of those things for anybody.
Where the DPDP Act requires verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian, we will obtain it before processing. If you believe a child has submitted their details to us, please tell our Grievance Officer and we will delete the record.
If we change how we handle your personal data — for instance if we ever add a new tool to this website — we will update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. We will not quietly begin doing something this page says we do not do.
Where a change materially affects you, we will say so clearly rather than relying on you to notice. If you return to the website after a long gap, it is worth reading this page again.
For any question, request or complaint about your personal data — or to exercise any right described above — please contact the person we have published under Section 8(9) of the DPDP Act as able to answer on our behalf:
We would far rather hear from you directly than have you wonder. A phone call is welcome.
